Bryan Yang is a stand-up comedian based in New York City. He’s originally from Sacramento, CA where he began his comedy career. Yang moved to New York because he was sick and tired of being able to afford rent.
In 2013, Bryan was named one of BuzzFeed’s “Top 14 Comedians You Should Be Paying Attention To.” He was number 12 on the list, so he barely made it. In 2014, nothing of note happened in Yang's career. Things turned around for him in 2015, and he performed in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival and Limestone Comedy Festival. In 2016, Bryan was featured by Paste Magazine's video series "Stand-Up at the Paste Studio." Most recently, Yang was a semifinalist in the StandUp NBC showcase.
Bryan has performed in some of the best comedy clubs across the country including the Punch Line Sacramento, Punch Line San Francisco, Punch Line Philly, Cobb’s Comedy Club, The Comedy Attic, New York Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club and the UCB Theatre. He mostly performs in the basement of bars though. There were too many bars to list.
